THe Shivers story

For years, Kathrine was surrounded by a community of entrepreneurs, who inspired her to think big. During her junior year in high school, she began dreaming about owning a food truck. After doing some research, she realized there was no way to run a full service food truck while completing high school. She thought her entrepreneurial endeavors were over. However, a family friend had planned to open a shaved ice business years ago and had a vision for an all natural treat for kids. The friend heard what Kathrine was up to and offered her the equipment. She was thrilled! She heart for wholesome food and her friend's vision for an all natural treat combined to create Shivers.

Shivers’s first event was in April 2018. Sawyer, Quinn and I took it over in 2021 and are so excited for Shivers 7th summer! We are thankful to the incredible Fort Worth community who have supported and helped us every step of the way!!

MeeT Emerson

Hi! My name is Emerson Espanet! I am a college freshman who owns Shivers, works at florist, and I am a proud member of the fighting Texas Aggie class of 2028. When not hanging out with my friends, doing homework, or working, I can usually be found at a cute coffee shop or outside enjoying nature. Both of my parents are entrepreneurs, which spurred my sisters and my passion for Shivers. I love working parties and getting to know people through Shivers! My favorite Shivers treat is Strawberry with a little orange on top!

Meet Sawyer

Hey y’all my name is Sawyer! I am a junior in high school and one of the owners of Shivers! I find the most joy when I’m at the beach, watercoloring or making snow cones. I love trying new hobbies and learning new things. My favorite Shivers flavor is Coconut mixed with Pineapple!!!

Meet QUINN

Hey my name is Quinn! I am in 7th grade and the youngest owners of Shivers. I enjoy hanging out with my sisters and friends, singing and baking. My favorite Shivers flavors are Watermelon and Cherry!
